Swimming Pool feature wall
One of the many benefits of choosing us to produce your shower panels is our custom sizing and design service. We can produce and deliver single panels up to 2 meters x 3 meters which is larger than our competitors. Larger panels = less joins.
Our shower panels are not laminated, but use a protective chemical resistant hard coating applied to the surface once printed, to offer excellent protection and adds to the longevity of our product. No peeling or degrading of the surface over time like other laminated shower panels on the market, and we UV cure both the print and coating on to the surface to prevent image and colour fading over time too. The chemical resistant properties and very low thermal expansion of our panels make them an excellent solution for swimming pool surrounds, or feature walls.
Image retouching & refinement
We produced this Swimming pool feature mural as a continuous set of three panels – over 4.5m wide, enabling us to join the panels in the most inconspicuous areas within the image. The original Louisiana Heron print was a rectangular format image, but as you’ll see the wall is very panoramic, so the client asked if the image could be extended to either side. Ian achieved this using his Photoshop skills by cleverly reusing plants and background elements within the original print to seamlessly create additional width to the left and right sides, keeping the bird central within the surrounding foliage.
We also colour adjusted the final image at the customer’s request, to make the colours more vibrant and rich to help match the blue of the Heron more closely to the blue of the swimming pool.
