A shower with a made-to-measure view

Every one of our panels is made to measure – to ensure the image works whatever the size and format of your shower – but the irregular shape of this quirky bathroom took it a stage further!  The shower room has actually been built into the void between two older buildings in this beautifully restored home. The result is that the angles and space is very unusual indeed.

The owners really wanted an image that reflected the coastline or wooded valleys around this pretty area of mid Wales. After visualising several image options within the space, the view over the tranquil coast at Aberaeron was selected, with its perching gulls and a fishing boat on the horizon.

Our polymer panels allowed them to be trimmed perfectly to match the varying wall space of the shower, with easy and accurate trimming of curves and angles with a sharp Stanley knife. The flex in the panels before fitting is also a major advantage in these tight spaces.

The image was also 'flipped' to create a seamless return under the slate shelf in the shower, to create an even greater sense of space and light.

Overall the result is truly unique, simple and stylish. The image works really well within the unusual wall shapes, and adds a real sense of space and creativity to this small bathroom.

Showerscape give a really good personal service and we are very pleased with the end product - having a photograph of Cardigan Bay in our strange shaped bathroom has given it real aspect.
